About Us
The Senegalese Association of Houston was founded back in 1997. When members join the SAH, they’ll find an organization filled with remarkable people, dedicated volunteers with a wide selection of year-round programs, activities and special events. At the SAH, we’re committed to enriching the lives of our members and the Senegalese community.
Since 1997 the Senegalese Association of Houston has been a place where families and individuals of our community come together for friendship, affiliation, and socialization in a safe and welcoming environment. Throughout our existence, you’ll find a committed volunteer team working to bring our community members together so that we could be united, to provide assistance and moral support when they go through hardship and to give them a sense of belonging.
Our Mission
The mission of the Senegalese Association of Houston is to develop and strengthen Senegalese values and culture, enrich, and foster the best interests of the Senegalese community and the greater community of Houston.
